Rekindling hope for rural reform in the Philippines

The recent 14-0 decision of the Supreme Court on November 22, 20110 that favoured the redistribution of Hacienda Luisita, came as a breath of fresh air that have inspired rural reform advocates in the Philippines. The 2011 edition of the Right to Food and Nutrition Watch identifies accountability as the most immediate challenge to the fight against hunger.
