Projects by country
ICCO supports projects in 41 countries across the globe.
ICCO does not implement projects or programmes. The initiative for the projects that ICCO supports, always comes from the local people and their organisations. The locals know best what it is they need. They develop their own plans. However, when required, ICCO does offer support in finding - preferably local - experts and advisors.
ICCO supports programmes, projects and organisations that fit in with its policies and objectives. ICCO's support enables people to give shape to dignified living conditions as they themselves see fit. ICCO often finances projects or programmes jointly with other donors.
ICCO operates in 53 countries. Below we offer a short description of the conditions per country, including the main problems as well as ICCO's focal points. Our website also lists projects in countries that do not feature on the 53 countries list. This concerns countries covered by members of the ICCO Alliance or Impulsis.
